{"id":3411,"date":"2025-08-07T12:52:58","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T11:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.manrolandsheetfed.com\/?p=3411"},"modified":"2025-08-07T12:53:35","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T11:53:35","slug":"parent-company-interim-report-released-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manrolandsheetfed.com\/blog\/parent-company-interim-report-released-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Parent Company Interim Report Released Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Power division drives record first half, AI power demand set to fuel further grow<\/strong>th<\/p>\n<p>Langley Holdings, the diverse engineering and industrial group, today published its Interim Trading Statement for the 6 months to 30 June, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The group reported a record first-half profit before tax (PBT) of \u20ac60 million and is forecasting \u20ac140 million for the full year.<\/p>\n<p>In his review of the business, Chairman &amp; CEO Anthony Langley reported that cash reserves had increased by around \u20ac100 million to \u20ac460 million since last year, despite \u20ac80 million of distributions and that a full-year PBT of \u20ac140 million was now \u201clargely underwritten\u201d by the \u20ac1 billion order backlog.<\/p>\n<p>The Group\u2019s performance in the first half of 2025 was broadly in line with expectations.<\/p>\n<p>The power division significantly outperformed targets and is on track for another record year. Bergen Engines, acquired from Rolls-Royce in 2021, Marelli Motori and Piller Power Systems all delivered strong results, with Bergen and Piller both reporting record first halfs.<\/p>\n<p>Burgeoning demand from AI-driven data centres is creating significant new opportunities. At Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, in June, the group showcased its behind-the-meter offering and signed the first deal &#8211; for a 200MW plant to power an AI data centre in the USA &#8211; at the show. The project pipeline has since expanded significantly, prompting increased production at the groups factories in Norway and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Piller, the gold-standard of power conditioning technology, part of the group since 2004, is also well positioned to benefit from AI data centre growth.
